Important Notes

  • Bulk export allows multiple transcripts to be downloaded at once, but it cannot combine all files into a single Word or Excel document; instead, it creates a zip file containing the individual transcript files.

  • Only transcripts you have access to will be included in the export.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Sonix account and go to your Homepage.

2. Tick the checkbox beside the Name column to select the transcripts you want to export.

3. Click the “Export All Transcripts” button, located on the right side next to the NEW FOLDER button.

4. Select your preferred export file format and adjust any options as needed.

5. Click Export. Your selected files will be downloaded as a zip file directly to your computer.

6. Bulk export at the folder level: You can also export all files within a specific folder. Go to the folder, select the files, then click the Export All Transcripts button and follow the same steps.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

  • Some files aren’t included in the export.
Only files you currently have access to will be exported. If a transcript was deleted, check your Trash folder and restore it before attempting the export.

  • Exported files aren’t opening correctly.
Ensure that you have the correct software installed for the file format you selected (e.g., Word, PDF, TXT). If issues persist, try re-exporting the files or contact Sonix Support for assistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I select transcripts from multiple folders?
No, bulk export can only be done within a single folder or from your Homepage. You’ll need to select files from one location at a time.

Word, PDF, TXT, and several other formats are available depending on your needs.
