Important Notes

  • Translated versions are accessible from the original transcript via a dropdown menu.

  • The translated transcript will only appear after the entire translation process has finished.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the original transcript in Sonix.

  2. In the transcript view, locate the “Translations” drop-down menu to view your translated versions.

  3. Select the specific language translation you want to see.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

I don’t see the translated file in my home folder. Where did it go?

Translations never appear in your main or home folder. They live under the “Translations” dropdown inside the original transcript.

Why isn’t the translated file showing?

The translated version of your transcript will appear under the "Translation" tab only after the full transcript has been successfully translated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t translations show up with my files/folder list?

Because translated versions are linked to the original transcript, not stored as separate files in your folder view.

Can I download or export the translated version?

Yes. Once you access the translated version via the “Translations” menu, you should be able to export or download it like any other transcript.

What happens if I translate multiple languages?

Each translated language will appear under the “Translations” dropdown. You can switch between them as needed.
