Upgrading from Free Trial to a Paid Plan

If your free trial has ended or you’d like to upgrade during the trial period, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account and go to https://my.sonix.ai/account.

  2. Click on “Upgrade Account” to view the pricing comparison page and choose the plan that best fits your needs.

  3. Select your preferred plan, proceed to payment, and confirm your order.

Common Issues and Troubleshooting

Will I get a reminder that my trial is ending?

Yes, we’ll send you an email reminder 3 days before your trial ends to give you time to explore your options and update your account if needed. If you haven’t uploaded or transcribed any files, you’ll receive this reminder 10 days after signing up.

What happens if I upgrade during the free trial period?

If you upgrade to a Standard or Premium plan during your trial, the trial will end immediately and your paid plan will begin.

I'm not sure how long my trial lasts. How can I find out?

Will I be charged automatically when my trial ends?

No, you will not be charged when your trial ends. While Sonix requires a credit card to begin the trial to ensure a seamless transition should you choose to continue with a paid plan, you will not be automatically billed when the trial period ends or when your 30 free minutes are used. You will only be charged if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

What happens when my trial ends or I use up my free minutes?

Once your 30-minute trial allowance is fully used or the trial period expires, your ability to upload and transcribe new files will be paused. You will still be able to access and review any transcripts you created during the trial, but to continue using Sonix’s transcription services, you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan.

Do I have to upgrade at the end of the trial?

No, upgrading at the end of your trial is entirely optional. Your free trial is designed to give you a risk-free opportunity to explore Sonix and evaluate how it fits your transcription needs. If you decide not to upgrade, your access to transcription services will simply end when the trial concludes.
