Step-by-Step Instructions
How to Create a Saved Custom Prompt
3. Click + Add New Prompt under Saved Custom Prompts, then give the prompt a name and enter the prompt you'd like Sonix to use. Click Add to save the prompt.
You can also click the Star icon on frequently used prompts to pin them to the AI Analysis menu for quick access.
How to Automatically Analyze New Files
Go to AI Analysis Settings.
Scroll to the Auto-analyze files section.
Under Automatically analyze new uploads? dropdown, select one of the following:
YES: Analyze all uploaded files
YES: Analyze all uploaded files and email me the results
NO: Do not automatically analyze uploaded files (default)
4. Under the Custom prompt for auto-analysis dropdown, select a custom prompt.
5. Click Save AI Settings.
Once configured, Sonix will automatically run the selected custom prompt on every newly transcribed file. No manual steps are required after transcription.
Note: Auto-analysis requires at least one saved custom prompt. If you haven't created one yet, you'll need to do so before enabling auto-analysis.
Common Issues and Troubleshooting
Why didn't I receive an email after my analysis was completed?
Email notifications are only sent if you've selected "YES: Analyze all uploaded files and email me the results" under Automatically analyze new uploads? in your AI Analysis Settings.
If you analyzed a folder, or email notifications weren't enabled, you can still view your results directly within the transcript or folder.
Why didn't AI Analysis run automatically?
Auto-analysis only runs if you've enabled it in AI Analysis Settings and selected a saved custom prompt under Custom prompt for auto-analysis.
If "NO: Do not automatically analyze uploaded files" is selected, or no custom prompt has been chosen, AI Analysis will not run automatically after transcription.
Why can't I find my AI Analysis results?
For individual files, open the transcript and click AI Analysis from the top navigation menu to view your results.
If auto-analysis was enabled, the results generated by your selected custom prompt will be available there as well.
For folders, open the folder and access the AI Analysis results directly from within the folder.
