If the upload progress is not moving, refresh the page and try again.
Ensure there are no special characters in the filename.
Ensure you are uploading a file type Sonix accepts. You can see the file types we accept here: https://help.sonix.ai/uploading-to-sonix/what-file-formats-can-i-upload-to-sonix
Ensure that your media file actually works. Open your source file and check that the audio/video plays properly on your computer. We suggest using VLC Media Player.
Ensure you have a strong Internet connection; be a bit more patient if uploading from a cafe.
If you are not using Chrome, we recommend Chrome. It is the most bug-free browser on the market.
If your file is very large, it can take much longer to upload depending on your Internet connection. In this case, we suggest you get up and grab a coffee or a glass of water while you wait.
